Great Canadian Shoreline Clean Up
In the past ten years, more than 1.5 million volunteers from 90
countries, including Canada, have participated in the annual International
Coastal Clean Up. Communities work together to create solutions
that ensure our oceans and waterways are kept clean. This year,
the clean ups will be extended into Alberta. To sign your group

The Wetland Ecosystem Team (WET), located at the University of
Washington School of Fisheries, conducts research on wetland ecology
and restoration. Their research focuses particularly on the estuaries
of the Pacific Northwest.
The Ecology Action Centre

The Ecology Action Centre has been an active advocate protecting
the environment since 1972. The Centre's earliest projects included
recycling, composting, and energy conservation. These are now
widely recognized environmental issues. Currently they are focusing
on Marine, Wilderness, and Transportation Issues, as well as School
Ground Naturalization and serving as interveners on the proposed
Sable Offshore Energy Project.
